Core notes
- Scope matters Work is based on the approved request, issue, or project scope. New issues or expanded work may need separate approval.
- Written communication Most communication is handled through email, SMS, and Teams. Calls and video meetings are used when they materially help the work.
- Third-party costs Domain renewals, hosting, licences, hardware, parts, and other external costs are billed separately when approved.
- Written summaries Where appropriate, completed work includes a clear summary of what changed and what still needs attention.
Fix attempt policy
If the agreed issue cannot be fixed, the labour for that fix attempt is not billed.
That policy applies to the approved issue or scope being worked. It does not automatically cover unrelated issues discovered during the process, nor does it waive approved third-party costs such as hardware, software, licences, domains, or hosting.

Houndworks IT is built for clinics, lean teams, startups, and office-based businesses that need competent support without inflated process. One-off jobs are welcome. Monthly and annual arrangements are available where ongoing coverage makes sense.
Discount note
- Vet clinic discount Veterinary clinics receive 20% off standard services unless otherwise stated for a special project or third-party cost.
- Project pricing Some work may be scoped at a fixed price. Other work may be handled as approved support time, depending on the job.
- Practical fit The service is designed for small business, but startups, solo operators, and one-off project work are not excluded.
